Chanel – Customer Service Ambassador

Chanel, Inc., a leader in the luxury goods industry, seeks a Customer Service Ambassador (CSA). The Customer Service Ambassador will be trained to be well-rounded in all activities within the Boutique, such as providing customers with the highest standards of service and ensuring that all operations in the Boutiques are processed correctly and efficiently.   We are seeking individuals who are passionate about the Luxury Retail industry and are looking to learn about Retail at the House of Chanel and developing a career in the field.  This role covers a wide range of responsibilities, as detailed below.
 
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Including but not limited to:
Client Service

  • Consistently deliver exceptional customer service based on CHANEL’s Client Service Values, including welcoming and greeting all clients
  • Provide sales and service support during high traffic periods, specifically:
  • Assist sales associate in cashiering / POS as needed
  • Offer beverages to clients
  • Retrieve merchandise from stock rooms
  • Assist with transfer and charge send requests
  • Assist in wrapping and packaging purchases as needed
  • Manage repair process to ensure increased client follow-up + resolution [repair log, repair paperwork, follow up with After Sales Service Center
  • Answer all phone calls and ensure client issue is resolved

Operational Efficiency

  • Conduct accurate opening and closing functions of the boutique
  • Support the opening and closing of the registers and assist with handling cash and deposits
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of all systems and policies as they relate to Customer Service, POS and Inventory Control
  • Process incident reports (variances w/ deposits, store incidents, etc.)
  • Order/maintain adequate supply levels (office, bank, cleaning, selling & shipping supplies)
  • Perform cashiering responsibilities
  • Maintain sales floor merchandising and stock order
  • Partner with management to identify and coordinate boutique repairs (phones, a/c, elevators, security monitors)
  • Process invoices for payment to vendors
  • Assist in re-ticketing all markdown items
  • Assist in the timely and accurate completion of cycle counts
  • Process mail checks for payment to clients
