DALLAS, TX. – June 17, 2009 – Vince will open their first Texas store in late August 2009 in Highland Park Village shopping center. The 1,450 square foot store will offer both men’s and women’s collections, making this the fifth retail outpost for the Los Angeles based contemporary lifestyle brand. Vince will be located in a portion of the space previously occupied by Harold’s.
Visitors to the Dallas store can expect to find the high-quality basics and modern styles that devotees have come to rely on from Vince. The brand was launched in 2002 by Rea Laccone and Christopher LaPolice and has grown to be a lifestyle brand that includes leatherwear, trousers, detailed tops, and outerwear for their loyal fans. Additionally, in the coming year, Vince will be licensing swimwear, handbags, loungewear and shoes.
As part of the direct-to-consumer strategy, Vince opened retail locations this past year in Los Angeles on Robertson Boulevard and Melrose Place, as well as Washington Street in New York City. Plans to expand its retail efforts with a second New York City location on Prince Street as well as Malibu, CA. are also in the works. This expansion will include international outposts, beginning with a retail store in London. Vince also launched the brand’s e-commerce site, Vince.com in September 2008.
