Menchie’s Adds To The Mix At Highland Park Village

DALLAS – August, 2009 – “What’s your mix?” are the words that will be flowing as freely as the frozen yogurt at Menchie’s this coming Saturday in Highland Park Village. The 1000 square foot space nestled between Anne Fontaine and Who’s Who Burgers will be the first Texas store for the company whose other locations include stores in California, Florida, New York, and Hawaii.

Underneath the signature pink and green signs, Menchie’s (www.menchies.com) will offer a unique and fun, family-oriented, self-serve “fro-yo” experience unparalleled by any other yogurt store in the area. The pure and creamy yogurt is made from live and active cultures and is low in fat and high in calcium. By charging customers by the ounce and not the number of toppings, patrons will get exactly what they want and pay for only what they take. Toppings range from fresh fruit, granola and yogurt chips to candies, hot fudge and nuts. Georgia Peach, Island Banana and Root Beer Float are just three of the novel flavors that will be featured at Menchie’s, along with standards chocolate, vanilla and coffee. Low sugar, low carb and non-dairy options are also available.

Highland Park Village is a favorite among locals, as it has been for generations. Built in 1931 and widely regarded as the country’s first true shopping center, the Village is internationally recognized for its architectural significance and mix of the world’s best-known upscale retailers including Carolina Herrera, Chanel, Harry Winston and Hermès.
