This week, there’s an excellent article on fashion designer Tory Burch in Fast Company. As the Business of Fashion writes, “This is what passes for Tory Burch’s happy dance. In 2014, her company will post more than $1 billion in revenue just 10 years after its public debut. Nobody in recent memory has built a fashion-and-lifestyle business as quickly as she has.” Burch credits most of her success to telling her own story – that of her family and their travels and what she knows as a friend, mother, daughter, and excellent hostess.
