TRINA TURK OPENING IN HIGHLAND PARK VILLAGE
The first boutique in Texas for the designer will open early this summer
DALLAS, TX – April 1, 2011 – Trina Turk, the quintessential California designer, is opening in Highland Park Village this summer next door to Vince in space #93. The 1300 square foot boutique will carry the designer’s ready-to-wear, swimwear, accessories, jewelry, and handbags, as well as selections from her residential line. The store will also feature the new Trina Turk coat line (launching this fall) and the Miss T. by Trina Turk dress collection, which includes several styles of elegant special occasion dresses.
The boutique is being designed by MR Architecture & Decor and will recreate the atmosphere of a bright garden courtyard with arched alcoves surrounding the space. “We have great respect for the Highland Park legacy, the beautiful architecture, and the eclectic mix of retail stores. We are thrilled to be opening a boutique here this summer and look forward to becoming part of the Highland Park community” says Trina.
Widely known for her use of dynamic colors and signature prints, Trina Turk’s designs encompass bright patterns, bold graphics and vintage inspired jacquards. Trina is both inspired by and represents the lifestyle of California, from the casual confidence of coastal enclaves like Santa Barbara and Sea Ranch to the cosmopolitan cityscapes of Los Angeles and San Francisco and the carefree glamour of sunny Palm Springs. Trina’s ready-to-wear, accessory and home collections are influenced by her love of vintage apparel from the ‘60s and ‘70s and the modernist and graphic arts and mid-century modern architecture.
