A lot is happening on the Dallas retail front these days, from Highland Park Village and NorthPark Center to Henderson Avenue and Deep Ellum. That means your credit cards are bound to get a workout this month.
From street-style threads to over-the-top luxury, this is where to shop in June:
Now open at Highland Park Village, Balenciaga carries women’s ready-to-wear, as well as handbags, small leather goods, shoes, jewelry, sunglasses and fragrance. As is a Balenciaga couture tradition, each category is represented in intimate “salons” within the store. This is the luxury brand’s first store in Texas.
Bonobos continues its transition from virtual to real world with a storefront on Henderson Avenue in Dallas. The new take on retail blends online and offline shopping, which means selections are made in person but fulfilled online. The 1,200-square-foot store showcases an assortment of day-to-night clothing for men — washed chinos, cotton and linen suits, and dress and casual shirts — in a range of colors and fabrics, giving each customer a bespoke experience.
The recently opened Epocha suits its Deep Ellum neighborhood, offering relaxed, street-style clothing and accessories for men. Boys can shop Epocha’s eponymous line, as well as interesting pieces by Publish, Ebbetts, ICNY, Original Paperbacks and more.
Victoria’s Secret’s perky Pink lifestyle brand now has a storefront at NorthPark Center, between Dillard’s and Macy’s. With a large selection of sweats and hoodies, T-shirts and tanks, workout wear, and, of course, colorful undergarments, Pink is every teenage girl’s dream.
The brand’s first store in Dallas (and second in Texas) is set to open at the end of June at NorthPark, on level one between Dillard’s and Neiman Marcus. The store will carry the complete range of Robert Graham, including men’s and women’s sportswear, denim, outerwear, footwear and accessories, and furnishings.
Ted Baker London
Just in time for June weddings, Ted Baker London at NorthPark has expanded its sartorial horizons with a line of bridesmaids dresses. Showcasing soft pastel-colored floor- and cocktail-length dresses, the new collection is elegant and timeless. In addition to a discount on bridesmaids dresses, Ted Baker’s “Tie the Knot” service includes styling advice and glasses of prosecco.
Warby Parker Classroom
One-to-one eyewear company Warby Parker debuts its Dallas “classroom” on June 18, with two unique shopping experiences. Inside the cute house, customers can check out the eyewear along with 1950s decor, books, school supplies, globes and chalkboards. A few feet away, step into the Warby Parker old-fashioned yellow school bus — an homage to its 2013 Class Trip pop-up tour — decked in leather and more Warby Parker glasses.
