MARKET – Store Manager

MARKET is a women’s concept boutique housing a finely curated selection of clothing, accessories, fine jewelry, and home décor in addition to 2 rotating incubator spaces. We are currently seeking a full-time Store Manager who is a dynamic forward thinker with the ability to motivate and lead a team while managing a fast-paced and growing business.


  • Meet and exceed monthly sales goals by empowering, developing, motivating, and working alongside your team.
  • Hire, manage, train, and retain quality sales associates.
  • Deliver, track, and manage sales associates’ performance by their daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
  • Develop new ways of connecting with clients, gaining client loyalty and retention.
  • Practice and teach client development to the team.
  • Set an example of exceptional customer service by modeling the desired customer service behavior and coaching the staff to achieve the same results.
  • Always maintain and enforce a high level of visual merchandising and housekeeping standards in the store.
  • Monitor and oversee personal shopping program working closely with the sales staff to utilize this program for overall sales growth.
  • Perform daily opening and closing procedures including daily paperwork reconciliation and other operational tasks working closely with Director of Operations.
  • Create foot traffic through community involvement, working with the Marketing Manager on in-store events and activations.
  • Create, manage, and communicate the monthly schedule for all FOH team members monitoring hours and PTO ensuring employees are not running into overtime.
  • Work directly with HR to reconcile hourly employee’s time sheets.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Protect store assets and inventory.

  • Able to create, read and work in Excel.

2 Years of Retail Management or equivalent experience is required. Weekends and some holidays are required.
