  • Designer Lela Rose was born and raised in Dallas, Texas.
  • Rose dreamt of having a store in Highland Park Village when she was a little girl shopping at the local Five & Dime, where Cartier is now.
  • Formally trained as a painter and sculpture, Rose attended Parson’s School of Design in New York City to pursue her love of fashion design. She debuted the Lela Rose Collection in 1998.

Lela Rose is offering complimentary at-home try on services. Customers living within a 25-mile radius of Highland Park can arrange a drop off and pickup time to try on items before purchasing.   • Miron Crosby is a family run business, co-owned and created by sisters Lizzie Means Duplantis and Sarah Means in 2017. The Means sisters found inspiration for their bespoke boot brand from life experiences growing up on a cattle ranch in West Texas.
  • All boots are authentic and handmade at the 160-year-old Rios of Mercedes factory operated by their cousins in Mercedes, Texas
  • They name boots after women and men they love and admire. The best-selling Jackie boot is named after their mom.

Miron Crosby is giving back to the community by hosting a Mini Crosby Boot Design Competition. An entry fee of $10 will be donated to the North Texas Food Bank and gives your kids the chance to design and win the next Mini Crosby children’s boot.   • The boutique is completely run by over 130 volunteers that handle everything from buying, displaying, accounting, sales, advertising and an exquisite gift-wrapping service.
  • All profits from sales are given to those in need and each year a committee reviews grant requests from local agencies.

  • Dallas entrepreneur Brian Bolke, who is known for co-founding Forty Five Ten, is now leading The Conservatory, a unique and curated boutique that joined The Village in 2019.
