HIGHLAND PARK VILLAGE HOSTS A FUN FAIR IN CELEBRATION OF STELLA MCCARTNEY’S VISIT TO DALLAS

DALLAS, TX (April 14, 2016) – Highland Park Village transformed into a mini Fun Fair to celebrate Stella McCartney’s visit to Dallas. Hosted by Nasiba Adilova Mackie, Heather Washburne, and Elisa Summers, the event invited the community to enjoy carnival games, food and entertainment with a Stella McCartney twist. This marks Stella McCartney’s second official visit to Dallas in 10 years and her first to the Stella McCartney store in Highland Park Village which opened in 2011.

Guests at the Highland Park Village Fun Fair enjoyed vegetarian carnival fare including veggie corn dogs, veggie burgers, fries, and frito pies, as well as popcorn and cotton candy. Family focused carnival activities included a Ferris Wheel, Bust-a-Balloon, High Striker, Ring the Bottle, as well as a Claw Machine where guests had the chance to win Stella McCartney prizes and Highland Park gift cards. Throughout the night, local Texan band Loyal Sally entertained guests with both original and cover tracks.

Highlights from the Stella McCartney Summer 2016 collection were showcased on models as they manned the game booths and mingled with guests. The collection composed of an explosion of colour, energy and movement is a true celebration of summer, exuding a vivacious and liberated spirit. Stella McCartney’s iconic everyday bag, the Falabella, is now available in 7 rainbow hues and the full Rainbow Pop Falabella Collection was also highlighted at the event.

A percentage of sales made at Stella McCartney’s store during the event and throughout the week will benefit the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The designer’s stay in Dallas is part of her tour in Texas and California, including stops at Neiman Marcus and her recently opened store in Houston’s River Oaks District.
