The root of inspiration for the fall 2015 collection originated with a nod to the American West, specifically Wyoming, a destination the designer frequents.

The elongated silhouettes, fringed knits, and beaded feather motif make a reference to the visual vocabulary of the rangeland and one-time frontier. The evolution of this language and spirit takes a decidedly modern turn with the use of specially designed fil coupé faille, guipure lace and tweed. Fringe cut faille is seen in an elongated tunic over matching trousers. Additionally, feather weight tweed is pleated in a calf length skirt and tweed organza is shown in a fringed tank dress.

The fall 2015 color palette explores a mixture of black, ivory and steel, infused with softer hues including lilac, pale turquoise and magenta.

The Trina Turk pre-fall collection is a perfectly curated mix of California modern and chic bohemian. “Wear now” silhouettes in light weight, drapey fabrics will easily transition for fall. Artist Paul Gauguin’s Tahitian paintings act as an inspiration for prints and color. Warm, vivid hues of jadeite, vermillion, spiced coral, citron, and fuchsia pop when grounded with scallop, twilight, and black. The Autumn Jungle print pulls from the palette mixing the brighter shades with a scallop backdrop. The ethnic-inspired Woodblock print is offered in indigo in ready-to-wear and black in the dress collection on a variety of fabrications. Best-selling styles feel fresh in Dayglow lace, leaving you wanting both colors – fuchsia and citron. The textured Brick Geo print is graphic and bold, offered in clean, simple silhouettes.
