Get to Know…Liz Thrash

Tell us a little about yourself and what led you to lead the Personal Shopping Team at Highland Park Village.

I started working in Highland Park Village 22 years ago at Ralph Lauren. Over the years of working in fashion, I was excited when the owners of Highland Park Village approached me about starting a Personal Shopping program 11 years ago.

When did you discover your love for fashion and how did you find your personal style?

I have always had a love for fashion, and working with all our incredible brands keeps that love alive. Since working in HP Village, I have developed a more classic, luxurious style with a pop of fun accessories.

What’s your favorite or most unique thing about what you do?

My favorite thing about my job is that every day is something new, whether it is meeting new clients, seeing new products, or having new experiences. I never know what my day will look like, and I love helping clients develop their style.

Can you explain the personal shopping experience and what a visit to the salon is like?

Our clients love coming to the personal shopping salon because we can provide a private, unique experience. We curate outfits from all the stores in HP Village and style out a personalized fitting room for them to try on in one spot. The best part is the complimentary service.

How long have you personally been visiting Highland Park Village?

The first time I visited HP Village was during my college years at Baylor. We would make trips to Dallas to shop at our favorite stores.

What do you enjoy most about the Highland Park Village community?

With HP Village being a family-owned business, it creates a warm and inviting culture throughout our entire corporate community.

What’s a fun fact that most people don’t know about you?

I am obsessed with Mahjong and can play it all day!
