Highland Park Village to Welcome Impressive New Tenants Including Several Exclusive to Texas
DALLAS, TEXAS – (May 12, 2023) – Highland Park Village, Dallas’ premier open-air luxury shopping and dining destination, is pleased to welcome four renowned fashion brands this summer and fall. Joining the collection of over 60 stores and restaurants, Highland Park Village will soon be home to French luxury fashion brand Balmain, exclusive Italian menswear brand Brioni, Spanish fashion house LOEWE, and Los Angeles-based elevated everyday fashion line SIMKHAI.
“Our goal is to continue to bring the most exciting, unique, and prestigious brands from both around the globe and locally to Highland Park Village,” said Stephen Summers of Highland Park Village. “For three of the esteemed global fashion brands, the upcoming openings mark the first standalone locations in Texas, and we could not be more thrilled to welcome them to Dallas.”
The openings, coming shortly after the March 2023 opening of Moncler, will bring the first standalone retail locations to the state of Texas for Brioni, LOEWE, and SIMKHAI. Highland Park Village boasts several stores that are exclusive to the state including Alexander McQueen, Carolina Herrera, Celine, Goyard, and more.
“SIMKHAI is thrilled to be joining the Highland Park Village community,” said Jonathan Simkhai. “The Village’s one-of-a-kind shopping destination offers a unique experience that SIMKHAI is so excited to connect with and share our offerings with the amazing women of Dallas.”
Following the success of SIMKHAI’s yearlong pop-up at MARKET Highland Park, the brand has established a presence with the Highland Park Village community, making for a timely store opening for the standalone location.
“Dallas is an incredibly important market for Balmain, home to many of our top clients, both those who have been with us and those who have joined the Balmain family more recently,” said Emily George, President, The Americas. “When looking for the location of our next Balmain Boutique, Highland Park Village was a natural choice, and we couldn’t be more proud to be opening in one of the finest retail centers in the country. We can’t wait to welcome our existing, local clients and to start to build relationships with the community for what we know will be a wonderful, long-lasting relationship.”
New Tenants Coming in Summer/Fall 2023:
SIMKHAI (Opening Summer 2023):
Founded in 2010 by designer Jonathan Simkhai, SIMKHAI designs for the elevated everyday with innovative techniques and timeless craftsmanship. The brand takes inspiration from architects and sculptors alike, blending progressive construction techniques with intimate hand-detailing to create truly special garments and lifestyle design. The Highland Park Village location will mark the brand’s third retail space and will carry ready-to-wear and swimwear alongside handbag and footwear accessories, which are designed to pair effortlessly with the originality of the SIMKHAI world.
Brioni (Opening Summer 2023):
Since 1945, the Brioni style is one of effortless modern elegance. In addition to the brand’s state-of-the-art Bespoke service, the House offers unparalleled, made in Italy, ready-to-wear leather goods, shoes, and accessories, both for formalwear and leisurewear, as well as fragrances. Founded in Rome and part of the Kering group, Brioni designs and crafts in the spirit of slow luxury, a value for the planet, and people that unites the craftsmen and the communities behind the house.
Balmain (Opening Fall 2023):
More than 75 years ago, when Pierre Balmain first introduced his “New French Style,” it immediately became clear to all that his eponymous house was offering a distinctly fresh, bold, and feminine conception of haute couture, one which broke with many of the well-established conventions of the era. Since 2011, Balmain Creative Director Olivier Rousteing has been inventively building upon Pierre Balmain’s extraordinary legacy, while always remaining true to his own determination to design clothes that reflect the way his inclusive, powerful, and global Balmain Army wishes to live today. The result is a unique and instantly recognizable Balmain silhouette, style and attitude that highlights the singular craftsmanship of the house’s celebrated ateliers, while consistently referencing a rich Parisian heritage.
LOEWE (Opening Fall 2023):
Founded in Spain in 1846, LOEWE is approaching 177 years as one of the world’s major luxury houses. With origins as a leather goods collective to becoming a leading global brand, LOEWE’s journey has always been defined by an obsessive focus on craftsmanship and an unmatched expertise with leather. Jonathan Anderson’s 2013 appointment as creative director marked a major rejuvenation of the house. Through a fresh redesign of the brand identity, the house has been further elevated as an influential and global cultural force. Highland Park Village’s location will carry women’s ready-to-wear, bags, small leather goods, accessories, shoes, belts, sunglasses, and sterling silver jewelry.
